Ruby, appears on one of Rachel’s favourite shapes, while red is universally acknowledged to be her favourite colour. One of the hallmarks of Rachel’s work is the brilliant structure she can bring to each piece, an art also mastered by William Moorcroft in his early design work.

The flower used by Rachel in Ruby is a rare hybrid of the Mediterranean oleander – a hybrid which is generally found only in the lower foothills of the Pyrenees. A dark blue ground colour sets off the Senior Designer’s structured line work and colour in a masterly fashion, but then Rachel Bishop is master of her art. Ruby appears on the 80/9 shape priced at £310.
