In May 1987 'A Guide to Moorcroft Pottery' was published, becoming the first Moorcroft book to illustrate in more than 400 colour plates all of the known designs of William and Walter Moorcroft, and Sally Tuffin produced between 1897 and 1992. The success of this book, which is now in its 3rd reprint of the 2nd edition, is a reflection of the increasingly high esteem enjoyed by Moorcroft among collectors, scholars, antique dealers, auctioneers and pottery enthusiasts world-wide.
