Highland Stoneware book has been written by the well known author and critic Malcom Haslam whose books on pottery include: The Martin Brothers and William Staite Murray.

It tells the story of how an art students dream became a successful company with an international reputation for quality and innovation and illustrates in colour all the patterns produced since the firms foundation as well as many special pieces made for exhibitions or by visiting artists such as Eduardo Paolozzi, Kaffe Fassett and Eric Marwick.

The manufacturing processes are described and illustrated and details are given of the craftsmen, past and present. Factory marks and decorators monograms are shown. This fully illustrated book is published by Richard Dennis Publications and gives a comprehensive history of the pottery.

It shows many of the individual pieces we have produced over the years, and makes a fascinating read for our collectors.
