GUDRUNSIBBONS@SISSONSGALLERY.CO.UK Gudrun Sibbons Gudrun was born in Annenberg in Silesia,
Germany and studied art in Berlin, Breslau and Hamburg.
She came to England in 1949 and married portrait painter and famous fly
fisherman William Sibbons, who sadly died in 2000
She now lives on the south coast of England, one of Britain's most scenic areas, her paintings still evoke her Continental upbringing, and indeed almost have a ‘Dutch’ feel to them. Her use of light and atmosphere in all her paintings is superb.
